Dr Sue Anderson BDS (U Lon), F.A.D.I., F.I.C.D.

Dr Sue Anderson graduated  from Guys Hospital, University of London with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery.  She is a Fellow of International College of Dentistry, a Fellow of  Academy of Dentistry International and a Member of the Western Australian Registration & Notifications Committee of the Dental Board of Australia.

Sue has worked as a House Surgeon at Guy’s Hospital, London, and as a Senior House Officer in Oral Surgery in East Anglia UK.  She practiced dentistry in Hong Kong prior to sailing on a 44 foot yacht to Papua New Guinea.  For a contrast Sue practiced dentistry in rural Orange, New South Wales after arriving in Australia.

She was in charge of the Dental Clinic at Sir Charles Gardiner Hospital for 6 years prior to establishing Swanbourne Dental Centre in 1995.  Sue enjoys preventive family friendly dentistry and keeps up to date with regular professional development courses.

Sue enjoys “helping out” and has volunteered as a dentist in India and in the Kimberley region on several occasions as well as participating  with the Swanbourne Dental Centre team in the Dental Foundation days of voluntary service.

Sue is married to Michael and they have 2 grown children. She enjoys tennis and has been a member of Allen Park Tennis Club since 1989.  She loves jogging (mostly on the beach), cycling, and bushwalking.  Even though she is a member of North Cottesloe Surf Life Saving Club, she admits to not liking big waves and prefers to swim on dead calm days.  Sue has been a keen bookclub member for 17 years.
